Pignato from Mandeville, LA Posted Apr 27, 2011 I have used this company since 2007 to replace freon in my air conditioning unit each year due to a leak in the coils. I trusted that this company charged me exactly what was needed each visit. During the last service call on April 3, 2011, I was informed that the AC unit took exactly 10 pounds of freon (R22) to refill and was charged according to this information. This AC unit is 13 years old and has a 10 SEER rating. Due to additonal problems with the unit, another repair company was called for service. I informed this company that my unit had just received 10 pounds of freon. To my surprise, I was informed that there was no possibility that my unit could hold this 10 pounds that was supposedly put in on April 3, 2011 by Country Air. I am extremely disappointed that I was deceived and misled by the representative from Country Air after having used their services for several years. It is unfortunate that consumers can be so easily taken advantage of in this unregulated business. Quality customer service, integrity, and professionalism create reputable companies. Consumers will relay poor service and deceptive practices to others, hopefully impacting those companies that take advantage of their customers.
